Knoll : Jonathan Muecke Collection

For Jonathan Muecke’s collection for Knoll, I developed a focused palette of three veneers: White Oak, Walnut, and Ebonized Ash. The veneers were developed to emphasize the clarity of the collection’s construction and the character of the wood itself, moving from the warmth and openness of WhiteOak, through the depth of Walnut, to the near-black presence of Ebonized Ash.Together, the three finishes create a concise material range with distinct identities while maintaining a consistent relationship to grain, tone, and surface.
